Welcome to the Indiana State Button Society's new web site!

	The Indiana State Button Society was formed in 1940 as a means to promote the collecting, preservation, and enjoyment of buttons. Anyone who likes buttons and would want to learn about them is welcome to join our group. For your convenience we have clubs all around the state of Indiana.
The ISBS meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month, usually at MCL Cafeteria 5520 Castleton Corner Lane Indianapolis, IN 46250 unless otherwise noted. Our meetings begin at 11:00 AM with a short business meeting, a raffle, lunch and then a button program presented by one of our members.
	Meeting dates for 2008 are as follows: January 12th February 9th March 8th April 12th (@ Boco Loco Beads) May 10th (@ Sharon's House) June 14th July 12th August 9th (Sunday family picnic at Craig Park) September 13th October 11th November 8th December 6th Looking forward to seeing you there!
Every year in March, ISBS holds our annual Button Show. Many buttons are for sale and there is competition for the members to enter. In 2008, our show is scheduled for April 4th-6th to be held at Columbus Indiana Holiday Inn 812-372-1541. Margaret Schaller (margaret.schaller@gmail.com) is our Show Chairmen. Please contact her if you would like to be added to our dealer's list, or if you have questions on the show!
	We welcome visitors to our meetings and annual show, and would love to have other button collectors as members of the ISBS.
